Three Dollar Dewey’s was originally opened in 1980 by the late, enigmatic, Allan D Eames. Eames was a famous “Beer Anthropologist”, traveling the world discovering exotic brews & the effects of brewing on various cultures. It was his thought that beer is what inherently makes us human and has been a driving force in the creation & shaping of society. Eames created Dewey’s to share his love of unique beers with the public. Today, Dewey’s carries on the legacy of Eames through our curiosity & passion for beer & people. Dewey's is under new ownership and undergoing needed renovations. Look for our Grand Opening March 1st 2019!

Terrific renovation, makes me want to be a" regular" again. The food was great and the service was excellent.

This was my first time at all to the restaurant. Only knew what the locals told me the place used to be. Well let me tell you , I was really blown away. Only due to what I have been told prior to enjoying my first time here. Atmosphere was light, fun and entertaining. Many selections of local beers on tap. Even for a guy who loves his New Castle, bartender was knowledgeable and gave me a beer that was on point, called Foundation. Really impressed the staff that was very friendly and Intentive to all the guest. We only got starters this time , reason behind a 4 star. However they were tasty and fresh. Loved the fact the we could hear the chef's in the back calling out the orders. We will be back to try out the night life and try the Ruben. Definitely high exspectation.

We walked in on a whim for some drinks. Our plan was to go to another local place for some lobsters. We decided since there would probably be a wait elsewhere so we stayed for dinner. The waitstaff was very friendly and she handled our large group perfectly. All of our meals were good. I mean really good. Best fish and chips I have ever had. I was very pleasantly surprised!
